Job Title: Die Cut Converting Supervisor (NOC 92014)

NovaPak Paper Products Inc. is a leading manufacturer and supplier of paper, paper-converting, packaging and printing products. We are currently seeking a Die Cut Converting Supervisor (NOC 92014) to join our paper-converting and packaging manufacturing operations.

Job Description
• Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of workers involved in die-cutting, paper converting, paper box and packaging manufacturing operations
• Ensure that paper-converting systems, machinery and equipment operate efficiently and that required maintenance and repairs are performed
• Establish methods to meet production schedules and coordinate work activities with other departments
• Resolve production and operational problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
• Requisition materials, equipment and supplies
• Train or arrange for the training of employees in job duties, machine operation, safety procedures and company policies
• Recommend personnel actions
• Prepare production and other reports
• Monitor workplace safety conditions and ensure compliance with safety procedures
• May set up machines and equipment and perform die-cutting and paper-converting functions when required
• Plan and organize daily production activities

Requirements
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years of experience in production planning and operations in the die-cut packaging or paper-converting industry
• Able to set up and operate die-cutting and paper-converting machinery
• Able to communicate in English
• Willing to work overtime, weekends or holidays if required

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-Time
Working Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
Salary: $38.50 per hour
