Job Description:

Principal Purpose of Position:

  • Develop and implement client-specific data integration solutions, utilizing a combination of .NET-based utilities, SQL procedures, and traditional data transfer methods (SFTP, FTP, email).

  • Engage with platform team to understand data integration needs and provide tailored solutions that enhance data accessibility and processing.

  • Write, debug, and optimize PL/SQL procedures to process data efficiently, ensuring accurate and timely data delivery to clients.

  • Transition existing data integrations to modern REST APIs, hosted in Azure App Containers, to improve scalability and security.

  • Assist in the migration of legacy data integration methods to cloud-based solutions, aligning with the organization's future state vision in Azure.

  • Provide support and maintenance for existing integrations, troubleshooting issues and adjusting as necessary.

  • Proactively learn and apply new API technologies and data integration techniques to projects.

  • Document all integration processes and solutions, ensuring clear communication and continuity in client engagements.

Education and/or Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Proficient in .NET development, PL/SQL, and familiar with traditional data transfer methods.

  • Knowledge of Azure Cloud development and REST API implementation.

Relevant Work Experience:

  • 4-6 years’ experience in a client-facing role within data integration or software development.

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing data integration solutions that meet client needs.

  • Experience with database programming, particularly using PL/SQL, and developing .NET-based applications.

  • Must have a knowledge of Object-Oriented architecture and Service-Oriented architecture.

  • Demonstrated ability to improve efficiency of solution delivery through the development and implementation of best practices and tools.
