Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Developer to support the GenTax tax processing system, handling analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation to improve tax processing efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation for GenTax system
• Code enhancements and develop fixes for production problems using GenTax functional/technical standards
• Execute SQR change requests in FAST GenTax system
• Track changes in the FAST Central Repository (FCR) per project standards
• Coordinate work with other software developers
• Participate in structured code reviews and walkthroughs
• Work independently with minimal direct supervision from team leader
Required Skills & Certifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• Experienced non-manager level
• 5+ years: programming experience
• Minimum 2 years: experience with FAST Enterprises technology systems (GenTax, Fast DS-VS, Fast UI-PL, or Fast CSE)
• Proficiency in C#, PostgreSQL, and Visual Studio
• Must not have worked for FAST Enterprises directly in the past 6 months
Scheduling:
• Location: 100% Remote, Augusta, Maine.
• Duration: 8 Months
• Hours: 40 hrs/week
