Job Description:
A Deskside Support Technician is required to start work ASAP at Omikan Technologies Inc. The individual will be responsible for the following duties:

1. Communicate electronically and in person with computer users experiencing difficulties in determining and documenting problems experienced.
2. Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions.
3. Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties.
4. Collect, organize, and maintain problem and solution logs for use by other technical support analysts.
5. Participate in the redesign of applications and other software.
6. Provide business systems network and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties.
7. Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
8. Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations
