Designer, Interior Design Job

M Moser Associates is hiring a Designer, Interior Design to be
based in our Vancouver office and join our team to drive design excellence
across a dynamic portfolio of workplace projects, supporting the growth
and innovation of our integrated design practice.

Job title: Designer, Interior Design
Job type: Full-time and permanent, 40 hours per week
Base pay range: CAD$120,000 /yr – CAD$150,000/yr (To be negotiated)

Responsibilities
-- Estimate the cost of projects
-- Prepare detailed specifications
-- Work in a multidisciplinary environment
-- Create interior spaces that reflect clients' needs and tastes
-- Supervise staff or team
-- Read blueprint, schemas and drawings
-- Advise on selection of colours, finishes and materials, lighting, furniture
and other items, taking into account ergonomic and occupational health
standards
-- Consult with clients to determine needs, preferences, safety
requirements and purpose of space
-- Develop detailed plans and 3-D models showing arrangement of walls,
dividers, displays, lighting other fixtures
-- Develop plans, elevations, cross sections and detailed drawings
-- Assemble the creative team
-- Coordinate the flow of information within the team
-- Consult with boards of directors, senior managers and government officials
-- Co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers
-- Coordinate projects and programs
-- Work closely with Project Directors, Strategic Planners, and
Construction Managers to ensure project delivery aligns with design intent,
budget, and timeline
-- Contribute to business development initiatives, including RFP
responses, pitches, and thought leadership efforts.
