Design Engineer Job

Will design and fabricate custom test equipment per customer requirements and oversee all phases of development, testing and final reporting. Work directly with customers to define custom test equipment performance requirements, design complex machines and mechanisms using Solidworks CAD software. Personally fabricate/oversee fabrication of equipment. Create multiple iterations of design protypes using Solidworks CAD. Research test standards and creating test plans based on the needs of the customers. Program and verify high-level equipment parameters for testing. Design/modification/operation of test
machinery included but not limited to: Vibration Shaker, Shock tester, Temperature and Humidity Chambers, Thermal Shock Chamber, Salt Spray Chamber, Tensile Testers, and Thermal Vaccum Chambers. Perform FEA analysis on test samples, vibration fixtures and test setups. Oversee implementation of custom designed test machinery, perform all testing, failure analysis and report.
