Job Description:
• Execute a range of design assignments for projects of moderate size and complexity, applying skills in all conventional aspects of architectural practice.
• Lead and participate in the development of conceptual design, planning, programming, and schematic design for various architectural projects.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure that design intent is achieved and maintained throughout all phases of the project, from concept through construction.
• Produce detailed architectural drawings, models, and specifications, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate project progress and resolve design and technical issues as they arise.
• Conduct site visits and fieldwork as needed to assess project progress and ensure that construction is proceeding in accordance with the design.
• Review project documentation, including construction documents and specifications, to ensure quality control and adherence to design standards.
• Assist with project scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management to meet project deadlines and cost objectives.
• Use computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans – specifically Revit (PM level) AutoCAD, Blue beam, Speclink, Adobe Photoshop, Plan Grid, Microsoft -Office suite.
Job Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Two years of experience in developing conceptual design, design development and construction documentation; working on various education, healthcare, and government renovation projects.
• Two years of experience of conducting site investigations and surveys and develop existing condition drawings.
• Skills in using AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Plan Grid, Microsoft Office, and Power Point.
• Occasional travel to local client sites in metro Nashville area.
