Work Hour: Negotiable (at least 30 hours/week)

We are a dental clinical office with modern equipment serving local communities.
Now, we are looking for a permanent, full-time Dentist to join us.

Job Duties:

• Perform thorough examinations, diagnose oral health issues, and create personalized treatment plans to address patients' dental needs, including preventive, restorative, and cosmetic procedures.
• Conduct routine dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, repair teeth, root canals, and teeth cleanings to maintain and improve patients' oral health.
• Apply sealants to teeth and bleach and polish teeth for color restoration.
• Respond promptly to dental emergencies, providing immediate relief and necessary treatment to alleviate patients' pain and discomfort.
• Educate patients on proper tooth and gum health and how to maintain healthy teeth.
• Prescribe medication when required.
• Communicate effectively with patients, explaining treatment options, oral hygiene techniques, and preventive measures to promote long-term oral health.
• Manage detailed and up-to-date patient records, treatment plans, and progress notes using electronic dental records systems.
• Foster strong patient relationships by providing personalized care, addressing concerns, and maintaining a friendly and welcoming dental office.
• Instruct, train and supervise dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other staff.

Qualifications:

- Two or four years of pre-dentistry university studies or completion of a college program in the related fields is required.
- A valid provincial or territorial dentist license is required.
- Experience as a dentist or in the relevant field is preferred.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Proficiency in dental software and technology.
