Job Description:
Main tasks:

Digital Implant Planning
Plan, organize, direct, control and monitor all the dental laboratory services including digital Pro-guide implant planning in collaboration with surgeons and dentists.
Work with designated technical team members to ensure surgical guides align with prosthetic restorative plans.

Technical Expertise and Support
Train and support designated Customer Service representatives in handling technical inquiries from dental offices regarding the CAD/CAM department.
Guide the team in digitally processing cases through platforms such as Cerec, 3Shape Trios, DDX, Meditlink, and Care Stream.

System and Software Management
Update and manage DME libraries to import the latest components into the CAD/CAM system.
Enhance and maintain proficiency with software and implant systems, including Nobel BioCare, Straumann, Astra, BioHorizon, Zimmer/Biomet, and others.

Advanced Digital Dentistry Tools
Gain expertise in Zirkonzahn’s Face Hunter PlaneSystem® and manage face-scanning cases by merging them with models, CT scans, and wax-ups.
Lead the creation of stackable surgical guides, ensuring precise compatibility with software and implant systems.

Troubleshooting and Maintenance
Provide technical support for 3D printing & milling, resolving issues in collaboration with equipment manufacturers.
Develop evaluation systems to monitor the quality control of digital files to ensure accuracy for printing and milling systems ensuring adherence to industry standards and client satisfaction.

Collaboration and Case Management
Work with technical and customer-facing teams to ensure seamless case management from inception to completion.
Act as a liaison between dental offices and the lab, ensuring alignment in treatment plans and delivering prostheses.

Other Duties
Assist senior management in planning and managing the departmental budget.
Engage in patient consultation and treatment planning alongside surgeons and prosthodontists.

Job Requirements:
Employment Experience Requirements

4-5 years of experience in implant studio, including proficiency with 3Shape dental system, CoDiagnostiX, DTX, RealGuide, and B4D Blender.
4-5 years of experience in clear aligner design and fabrication, including the use of 3D printing technology for aligner stents.
Advanced knowledge of digital dentistry tools and techniques, including experience with CAD/CAM systems and digital workflow integration for implant planning and restorations.
Proficient in creating stackable surgical guides (e.g., reduction guides, implant guides, teeth-supported reference layers, stacked immediate load guides). Referral letters from Canadian surgeons with experience using stackable surgical guides may be required.
High-level understanding of occlusion and facial reference analysis, with the ability to use the Face Hunter system for both surgical and restorative procedures.
Expertise in 3D resin materials for various brands on the market, with the ability to select the correct material based on client needs.
Sufficient clinical experience with dental implants, including the ability to speak at continuing education seminars.
In-depth knowledge of popular implant systems and their prosthetic components, with the ability to consult with dentists.
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot digital files for accuracy, ensuring compatibility between 3D models and milling/printing systems.
Knowledge of oral and maxillofacial anatomy, and ability to assist with pre-surgical planning and post-surgical evaluations.
Experience with 3D printing technologies, specifically in the use of resins for surgical guides, aligners, and models, as well as knowledge of post-processing techniques.
Experience in patient consultation, including the ability to explain treatment options, benefits, and risks of implants.

Remuneration:

As a valued member of Pro-Art Dental Laboratory, you will receive an hourly wage $48.07 - 57.69$ depending on skills and experience. Working hours are 40 per week. You will receive 150% more than the regular wages for the hours worked overtime. The offer is permanent, full-time, in office.
