Dental Laboratory Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in fabricating quality denture products, implants, crowns, bridges
• Optimizes laboratory production by organizing and prioritizing daily work and following the denture scheduler
• Perform dental laboratory procedures including plastering, waxing-up, casting, and polishing
• Wax, process and finish removable dental appliances
• Handle a variety of materials such as ceramics, porcelain, gold dies, goldwork, and chrome castings
• Mounts articulated models on an articulator and records bite relations as indicated
• Operate and maintain instruments, equipment and inventory
• Maintains records relative to work performed

Qualifications:
• 3+ years’ experience in commercial dental laboratory
• Completion of secondary school
• Strong technical expertise in dental laboratory procedures and materials
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• High level of precision, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail
