Job Description:
- Position: Dental Laboratory Assistant
- Employer: Turner Dental Laboratory Ltd.

- Wage: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour
- Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week
- Benefit: 10 days of paid vacation and group benefits plan after the successful completion of probation period

Job Duties:
- Assist in the creation of plaster models and molds using dental impressions.
- Fabricate wax bite-blocks and impression trays.
- Assist in the casting of gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases.
- Help pack plastic material into molds to create full or partial dentures.
- Assist in molding wax over denture set-ups to shape artificial gums.
- Support in the creation of orthodontic bands from various metals.
- Assist in finishing metal frameworks of dentures, as well as polishing and buffing dentures to achieve a natural appearance.

- Education: Completion of high school with up to two years of on-the-job training is required.
- Experience: Experience is an asset.
