Northern Rockies Dental located at Fort Nelson, BC is looking for a full time Dental Assistant (NOC 33100) to be a part of their team at the earliest.

Job duties
• Prepare patients for dental examinations
• Cast gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases
• Order dental and office supplies
• Prepare dental instruments and filling materials
• Perform reception and clerical duties and Educate patients concerning oral hygiene
• Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment
• Finish metal framework of dentures
• Supervise students in training
• Polish teeth and clinical crowns and apply fluoride and sealant
• Schedule and confirm appointments
• Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures
• Take and develop X-rays & take preliminary impressions for diagnostic casts
• Record dental procedures performed on patients
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary School is a required. Completion of an eight-month to one-year college or other program in dental assistance is required.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in the relevant field is an asset.
