A modern, state-of-the-art dental office located in the heart of Lower Manhattan’s Financial District is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our clinical team!
We are a fast-paced, high-volume PPO practice that invests in cutting-edge technology and equipment. If you are reliable, adaptable, and thrive in a busy environment — we’d love to meet you!
? Requirements:
• Minimum 1+ year Dental Assisting experience
• Experience in general and/or cosmetic dentistry (within the past 6 months)
• Comfortable working in a high-volume setting (30–40+ patients/day)
• Team-oriented mindset
• Strong adaptability and efficiency
?? Skills Needed:
• Knowledge of dental instruments & sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Well-organized and dependable
?? Responsibilities:
• Assist the dentist chairside (4-handed dentistry)
• Prepare and set up instruments and materials
• Chart during examinations
• Take and process X-rays
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Manage inventory & assist with ordering supplies
• Provide post-operative and oral hygiene instructions
• Maintain high standards of patient care and customer service
