-1 to 3 years relevant experience
Job Description:

Coordinate and oversee daily activities of demolition workers on work sites;

Establish safe and efficient work procedures, sequencing, and demolition techniques.

Distribute work to labourers and equipment operators and monitor progress throughout the shift.

Enforce PPE use, hazard controls, and WorkSafeBC regulations on all job sites.

Inspect sites — Identify structural risks, hazards, and required protective measures before and during demolition.

Oversee operation of excavators, skid steers, breakers, and other demolition equipment.
Ensure water, gas, and electrical services are safely disconnected before demolition begins.

Oversee sorting, loading, and disposal of demolished materials and recyclables.

Keep daily logs, safety reports, material records, and progress updates.

Provide training on safe demolition practices, equipment use, and site procedures.

Report timelines, site conditions, and project updates to supervisors or project managers.

Address delays, safety concerns, and operational problems promptly.
