Looking for talented delivery truck drivers to join our team.

Location - 600 BEDFORD HIGHWAY, Suite 230, Halifax, NS B3M 2L8

Work Location - On the road

Salary - $20.00 hourly / 35 hours per week

Terms of employment - Permanent employment & Full-time

Employment Conditions - Evening, Morning, Day, Weekend

Start Date - Starts as soon as possible

Benefits: Other benefits - 4% Vacation Pay + WCB

One year of safe driving experience is required.

Responsibilities

Tasks

Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand

Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products

Professionalism in customer service

Receive and relay information to central dispatch

Keep a record of items received and delivered

Prepare, package and restock goods

Load and unload goods

Sort packages for delivery

Follow directions and read map

Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems

Provide customer service

Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle

Credentials

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses

Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)
