Ava Hi Seas Ship Suppliers Ltd., the Canadian West Coast’s Premier Ship Chandlers, is hiring a Truck Delivery Driver for full-time, local delivery work. We supply vessels arriving at the Port of Vancouver with essential provisions and technical equipment.

Job Requirements:
Operate cargo vans, 3-ton, and 5-ton automatic trucks to deliver goods to vessels and clients
Load and unload shipments using tailgate lift systems (experience preferred)
Deliver supplies locally and to marine ports throughout the lower mainland
Drive safely and efficiently across various Lower Mainland routes
Communicate with dispatch, warehouse staff, and port contacts to coordinate schedules
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting maintenance needs
Maintain accurate delivery logs (mileage, fuel usage, delays, incidents, etc.)
Assist with warehouse tasks, including operating forklifts (if certified)
Perform heavy lifting as needed for loading and unloading cargo

What We’re Looking For:

Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
Clean driving record (driver’s abstract required)
Background check required
Experience driving a 5-ton truck (preferred)
Experience using tailgate lifts and performing delivery tasks
Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude
Ability to lift and move heavy items safely and efficiently
Familiarity with warehouse logistics and forklift operation (preferred)
Excellent communication skills and teamwork
Weekend availability is required

Pay: $28.00-$38.00 per hour

Experience:
