Location: Mankato, MN 56001
Shift Hours: 2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 4:30 PM – 2:30 AM
Hiring Basis: Direct hire basis

Pay: $26-$35/Hourly/W2

Lotus Technical has a direct role for a Davenport Screw Machinist for our manufacturing client located in Mankato, MN. Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate Davenport multi-spindle screw machines
Read and interpret blueprints, job travelers, and process sheets
Select and install tooling, cams, and attachments
Make adjustments to maintain tolerances and maximize efficiency
Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools
Troubleshoot issues and perform minor machine maintenance
Maintain production rates and minimize scrap
Follow all safety and quality procedures

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

2+ years screw machining experience. Will consider candidates with any kind of machining experience provided mechanically inclined and can read a printed gage for inspections. Davenport screw machine experience is a huge plus.
Strong understanding of feeds, speeds, tooling, and materials.
Ability to read blueprints and hold tight tolerances.
Experience with precision measuring equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Dependable with a strong work ethic.
Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
