Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Database Analyst to design, implement, and maintain our database systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience with database technologies.
Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain database systems to meet organizational needs.
* Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity.
* Monitor database performance, implement changes, and apply new patches and versions when required.
* Collaborate with developers to design and enhance database schemas, tables, and indexes.
* Perform data modeling and database design.
* Implement and maintain database security measures.
* Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner.
* Develop and maintain database documentation and procedures.
* Conduct regular backups and ensure data recovery.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and best practices.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Database Analyst, Database Administrator, or similar role.
* Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
* Experience with database design, data modeling, and performance tuning.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work with large datasets and ensure data integrity.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Experience with database security best practices.
* Familiarity with SQL and scripting languages.
Education:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
* Relevant certifications in database management are a plus.
