Job Description:
Build and automate testing frameworks around data ingestion pipelines. Write complex SQL queries on tables with hundreds of millions of records and ensure data integrity is maintained throughout the ETL lifecycle. Execute functional/performance tests by spinning up disposable environments on demand to deploy microservices with different versions and configurations, and customize database content. Develop test automation at the pace of feature development utilizing our functional and performance test frameworks. Customize, configure, patch services, and deploy infrastructure and code changes all the way through to production. Analyze log files and troubleshoot production issues by automating and reproducing them in a non-production environment. Plan, create, and implement strategies/solutions for feature validations and test automation.

Minimum Requirements:
Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science or in a related technical field.
Experience: Three (3) years of experience in the job offered, or as Data Quality Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer or in a related occupation.
Skills: Building Data Pipelines; Python; Maven and Jenkins to build and deploy applications for testing; SQL and NoSQL; Analyzing product specifications, decomposing integrated software systems, and designing strategies to test systems; and, Running CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment).
Alternate Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or in a related technical field.
Experience: Five (5) years of post-baccalaureate, progressive experience in the job offered, or as Data Quality Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer or in a related occupation.
Skills: Building Data Pipelines; Python; Maven and Jenkins to build and deploy applications for testing; SQL and NoSQL; Analyzing product specifications, decomposing integrated software systems, and designing strategies to test systems; and, Running CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment).
If qualifying based on Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience, experience must be progressive and post-baccalaureate.
Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
