Required Skills & Qualifications:
10-12 years of professional experience in data modeling, data architecture, or a related field.
Expert proficiency in data modeling techniques and methodologies (e.g., 3NF, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Data Vault).
Strong experience with data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, IBM InfoSphere Data Architect, or similar).
Deep understanding of relational, dimensional, and NoSQL database design principles.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with database platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Snowflake.
Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and big data ecosystems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Must be willing to work on-site in McLean, VA, 5 days per week.
