Data Analyst Job

Key Responsibilities: • Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources to generate meaningful insights, reports, and dashboards. • Design and develop interactive BI dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker to visualize complex data in an easy-to-understand format. • Develop and maintain data models, and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data is accurate and efficiently processed. • Monitor, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) across various departments (e.g., sales, marketing, operations) to support business objectives and decision-making. • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide analytical solutions that meet those requirements. • Ensure data quality and integrity by identifying and resolving data discrepancies and implementing data validation rules. • Identify and analyze trends, patterns, and anomalies in the data to uncover business opportunities or risks. • Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as required by business leaders to assist in strategic planning and decision-making. • Implement automated reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual data entry. • Stay current on BI tools, trends, and best practices, and recommend improvements to enhance data analysis capabilities and business intelligence functions. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field. • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst, with a strong understanding of data analysis, reporting, and visualization techniques. • Expertise in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QlikView) for creating dashboards and reports. • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets. • Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL). • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis and automation is a plus. • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work with complex data and derive actionable insights. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. • Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is an advantage. • Experience with machine learning and predictive analytics is a plus. • Knowledge of advanced Excel functions, pivot tables, and macros. • Certification in Business Intelligence tools or data analytics (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Tableau Desktop Specialist). • Analytical mindset with a focus on delivering actionable insights. • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and industry trends.
