Position: Data Administrator (NOC 21223)
Employment Terms and Conditions: Permanent, Full-time (30-40 hours per week), Day, Flexible Hours, To be determined,
Wage: $45.00 – $48.00 per hour
Company: Triple Eagle Logistics (Vancouver) Inc.
Work Location: 1118-4871 Miller Road, Richmond, BC V7B 1K8
Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Design, develop, implement, and maintain databases for logistics operations, including shipment tracking, inventory management, and client records.
• Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize systems for speed, reliability, and efficiency.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Develop and implement data backup, recovery, and archiving procedures.
• Collaborate with logistics, operations, and finance teams to create custom reports and data solutions that support decision-making.
• Integrate databases with logistics management systems, ERP software, and client platforms.
• Conduct regular audits of data quality and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Stay updated with emerging database technologies and apply best practices to support business growth.
Position Requirements and Qualifications:
• Diploma degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in related field.
• Proficiency in SQL, database management systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server).
• Experience with ERP and logistics management systems considered an asset.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of data security, privacy laws, and compliance standards.
• Client focus; Efficient interpersonal skills; Flexibility; Judgement; Reliability; Team player; accountability
