Position: Data Administrator
Working hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: $43.00 per hour
Main job responsibilities:
• Develop and implement data administration policies, standards, and models to ensure comprehensive data management, conduct thorough research and documentation on data requirements, data collection and administration policies, data access rules, and security measures.
• Formulate policies and procedures for network and/or Internet database access, usage, and backup/recovery processes, provide informed advice to information systems professionals regarding data collection, availability, security, and suitability.
• Lead and coordinate teams of data administrators in the development and implementation of robust data policies, standards, and models, ensuring cohesive and secure data management practices.
• Collect and compile geospatial data from various sources, integrate different types of geospatial data to create comprehensive datasets.
• Conduct spatial analysis to derive meaningful insights from geospatial data, use GIS (Geographic Information System) tools for spatial modeling and analysis.
• Design, construct, modify, integrate, implement, and rigorously test data models and database management systems.
• Provide research-based advice to informatics professionals on the selection, application, and implementation of cutting-edge database management tools.
