Responsibilities
Handling animals, Monitor the calving process, Monitoring animal health, Perform livestock feeding, Prepare a clean, dry area for cows that are calving, Treat livestock health issues, Milk cows, Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens, Maintain work records and logs, Perform general farm duties
Experience and specialization
Equipment and machinery experience: Milking system (automated), Tractor, Farm truck, Hand tools
Area of specialization: Dairy cattle
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently, Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Large workload
