Job duties:
Milk cows by hand or using machines
Handling animals
Monitoring animal health
Supervise milking operations to ensure work is done correctly
Treat livestock health issues
Feed and tend animals
Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market
Monitor the calving process
Organize tasks to accomplish the work
Disinfect pens and barns
Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns and pens.
Perform general farm duties
May drive equipment to help with field work

-Education: No formal education is required
-Experience: A minimum of 7 months of experience is required. On-the-job training will be provided.
-Must take direction and abide by safety rules
-A Valid driver’s license is a strong asset.
-Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, Work under pressure, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Hand-eye coordination, Sound discrimination, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Large workload, Ability to distinguish between colours, Sitting, Walking.
-Personal Suitability: Organized, Efficient interpersonal skills, Judgement, Quick learner, Team player, Flexibility, Reliability, Initiative, Accurate

Important Information: The selected candidates will be scheduled to work between 4 and 7 days per week. If a worker works 7 days in one week, they will be limited to a maximum of 5 days the following week. Regular working hours are from 2:30 AM to 8:30 AM, and from 6:30 PM to 12:30 AM. Candidates may work either one or two shifts per day, depending on business needs. Overtime, weekend, and holiday work will be required. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, as some days may start earlier or end later, depending on business requirements.
