About the Role
We’re seeking a proactive, detail-driven Customer Service Representative to be the first point of contact for our customers. In this role, you’ll handle inbound inquiries via phone, email, and/or chat; resolve problems; and manage order activity (finished goods and spare parts) with accuracy and urgency. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to ensure customers receive timely, correct information and an overall excellent experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Customer Support
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
• Provide accurate product and service information; troubleshoot issues and escalate when needed.
• Manage and resolve customer complaints with empathy, professionalism, and follow-through.
• Partner with internal teams (e.g., technical, engineering, logistics) to address customer needs.
• Order Management
• Enter and process orders, changes, and cancellations with high accuracy (finished goods & spare parts).
• Track, update, and proactively communicate order status to customers.
• Support internal order requests (engineering pulls, product audits, scrap actions, etc.).
• Monitor shipping details, routing, and documentation for completeness and correctness.
Basic Qualifications
• 3 years in a customer service or customer support role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proven ability to handle challenging customer interactions with professionalism and empathy.
• Accuracy-focused; committed to correct order entry and follow-up.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple requests at once.
• Experience with order management and ERP systems (SAP or similar).
• Proficient in Excel and Outlook (or comparable productivity tools).
• Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree (business, communications, supply chain, or related field).
• 1 year experience supporting a manufacturing, distribution, or product-based environment.
• Adaptable and comfortable responding to shifting priorities, demand, or market conditions.
