Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic, customer-focused Customer Service & Operations Assistant to join our team at our Christchurch Airport hub. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, assisting international and domestic travelers as they transition from the arrivals terminal to the open road. Key Responsibilities:

Greet arriving customers, verify rental documentation, and efficiently manage the vehicle checkout/check-in process.

Maintain absolute price transparency with clients, ensuring clear communication regarding rental terms and our zero hidden fee policy.

Assist with fleet coordination, ensuring vehicles are clean, meticulously inspected, and safety-checked for changing South Island road conditions.

Handle last-minute booking requests, phone inquiries, and digital confirmations with speed and precision.

Troubleshoot customer inquiries professionally to ensure a seamless, friction-free arrival experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, tourism, or car rental operations is highly preferred.

Exceptional communication skills with a friendly, welcoming, and professional demeanor.

Strong organizational abilities with a sharp attention to detail when handling paperwork and digital systems.

Ability to adapt quickly in a busy airport environment and work flexible shifts, including weekends.

A valid New Zealand driver’s license is required.
