Job Description:
1. MISSION:
• To ensure customer satisfaction by supervising the end product’s quality according to client quality standards, following the control guidelines defined by the Quality Department.

2. GENERAL FUNCTIONS*:
• Communicate client claims at plant quality meetings.
• Pay heed to customer-related needs with the rest of Quality Department functions, in order to work in a coordinated way.
• Establish a periodical and effective communication channel with the customer, such that he/she feels comfortable and to facilitate the solution for any problem, as well as to understand his/her needs and communicate them to the plant.
• Coordinate the solution of problems detected by the customer with team group problem-solving methodologies and its specific format, depending on the customer (8Ds, 5 Whys, NMCAR…).
• Administer selection of defective material at customer’s sites, and communicate the internal selection guidelines to the Plant Quality Engineer.
• Verify the effectiveness of the actions taken by the problem-solving groups.
• Ensure that self-control / prevention actions are thoroughly applied and, if possible, that they are applied to similar products / processes.
• Know the work methods of each customer and write the documentation for his/her products, from the initial samples to the line products.
• Take part in the team in charge of FMEA definition and revision, Control Plan and other necessary documentation.
• Coordinate the plant customer visits and audits, preparation of customer visits and presentations.
• Maintain the Quality System in the areas for which he/she is responsible.
• Take part in the preparation of the third-party audits, following the guidelines set by the audit system coordinator: Plant Quality Engineer.
• Analyze production, measurement and control needs in order to meet customer requirements.
• Ensure the effective use of quality system program modules.
• Suggest and execute improvement of activities to make an annual improvement plan, based on the customer's historical problems, potential problems and future needs detected.
• Take part in the project-launch teams.
• Observe Ficosa’s Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.
• Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OHSE and Quality department.

3. POSITION REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATION, LANGUAGES & EXPERTISE):
Academic background: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar

Languages: Advanced English (spoken & written)

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar position

4. OTHER SPECIFICATIONS:
Additional training: Knowledge of quality and environmental system would be of additional value
Knowledge in current legislation as IATF, automotive standards, basic VDA core tools, Customer Specific Standards and risk basic thinking.
