Location: Greenville, South Carolina
Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Anticipated Start: February 16, 2027
Assignment End: May 14, 2027
Position Overview
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time, school-based assignment in Greenville, SC. The COTA will work alongside a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide direct therapy services to students across multiple elementary school locations.
The anticipated caseload is approximately 9–10 students per day, with most therapy sessions lasting approximately 30 minutes.
Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy services to students under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
Support students in developing functional, academic, and daily living skills.
Implement treatment activities and interventions based on established therapy plans.
Document student progress and maintain appropriate records.
Collaborate with the supervising OT and school staff to support student needs.
Provide services across assigned elementary school locations.
Qualifications
Active South Carolina COTA license required.
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credentials required.
Previous school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred.
Ability to work effectively with students, educators, therapists, and school staff.
Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
Schedule & Assignment
Full-time: 37.5 hours per week
Anticipated assignment: February 16, 2027 – May 14, 2027
