Cost Specialist Job

A Cost Specialist is needed in Dadeville, Alabama.

Collect and analyze all expense and cost data to estimate costs for labor, purchasing, goods, marketing, manufacturing, operations, maintenance, occupancy expenses, and administrative costs for company’s business operations in manufacturing of automotive parts. Estimate overall costs and prepare cost analysis and expenditure reports by evaluating previous and current expenditures, analyzing cost factors and variances, and forecasting future budgets. Research current market trends in automotive and logistics industries to develop cost-effective products and services by identifying, eliminating, or reducing unnecessary expenses. Confer with human resources personnel and related departments to determine labor costs by estimating total labor expenditures for employees and staffing operations. Evaluate production and operational costs and compile detailed cost estimation reports by analyzing various cost factors, expenditure specifications, and cost variances. Document detailed expenditure lists and cost specifications to identify cost-saving opportunities and replace high-cost goods or services with cost-effective alternatives. Develop cost-effective business strategies by analyzing market trends, overall financial status, manufacturing processes, operational processes, cost factors, and material specifications. Develop and improve cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures to efficiently manage, track, and analyze spending activities.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Engineering.
