Work Location: 12011 Mitchell Rd, Richmond, BC V6V 1M7, Canada
Wage Rate: $80,000 annually, (37.50 hours per week). Overtime will be paid after 40 hours
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Education: High School
Experience: 1- 2 years of relevant experience.
Languages: Basic English is required.
Job Duties:
• Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
• Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads
• Project cash flow and financing requirements
• Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems
• Monitor and adjust contract expenditures
• Prepare and maintain directory of supplies and trade contractors
• Liaise, consult and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates
Essential Skills: Working with others, Problem solving, Critical thinking, Continuous learning for different projects.
