Cost Accountant Job

Cost Accountant: Track, monitor, and analyze all cost-related activities associated with the company's real estate development and investment projects. Analyze company financial information, and prepare balance sheets reflecting current and long-term assets and liabilities, annual profit and lost statements, and other consolidated accounting reports. Generate detailed and accurate financial reports on the status of project costs, including budget adherence, project costs to complete, and cash flow forecasts. Monitor and manage the costs associated with the company's investment portfolios, including equities, stocks, bonds, and real estate assessments. Work closely with the financial team to prepare budgets and financial forecasts for investment activities. Ensure all accounting and investment activities comply with local, state, and federal financial regulations and accounting standards. Prepare and submit financial reports required by regulatory bodies, including quarterly financial statements, tax filings, and investment disclosures. Develop reports and statements on accounting, vendors, and the availability of decision-making criteria.

Requirements: The position requires an Associate's Degree in Arts or Sciences and two years of experience in the job offered or a related position. The position requires skills and knowledge in ERP, NetSuite, Quickbooks, Tableau, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). The position requires incidental travel, 1 % of the time, not more than several days a few times a year domestically throughout the U.S.
