Job Description:
We have full time Copper I&R Technician positions in California - Colusa & The Villes. The primary function is to install DSL internet services, providing world class quality, and product education for residential and commercial customers.
Job Requirements:
• Installation, maintenance, and repairing of copper systems for residential and commercial customers.
• Ensuring adequate performance of internet, phone and if applicable, television services
• Complete pre-install work order and post-install service verification and customer education to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Place aerial or buried copper drop wire and install interior/exterior wiring.
• Observe all safety rules and OSHA regulations.
• Work at heights by using/setting up various types of ladders.
• Work in confined spaces.
• Teamwork - Assist other technicians in the performance of their duties when requested.
• Must convey a positive and professional appearance and demeanor when communicating the company’s products and services to our customers.
• Have an ability to adapt to new processes and new information frequently.
• Use internal systems for work order notation and time keeping.
• Maintain minimum acceptable metrics with Repeats, Productivity, and Completions.
QUALIFICATIONS
• MUST HAVE ONX-580 or HST-3000
• Knowledge of copper plant and premise wiring.
• Working knowledge of copper cable repair and rehab.
• Must satisfy company required tools and safety equipment checklist.
• Must have own truck, van, or SUV with a ladder rack.
• Lift up to 80lbs unassisted.
• Must have own tools to perform the job.
• Smartphone and Laptop are required.
• Effective communication skills and ability to multi-task.
• This project is hourly rates.
COMPENSATION
The pay is production based. Techs can make an average up to $3000/wk. Rates will be provided upon resume submission. We offer paid vacations, health, vision, and dental insurance, PTO, and 401k.
