RESPONSIBILITIES
? Set up a workstation with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
? Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
? Cook complete various foods according to our recipe.
? Check food while cooking to stir/or turn.
? Check the quality of ingredients.
? Order or receive food supplies after selecting the best qualities.
? Ensure all food meets food safety and quality standards.
? Work with specialized equipment such as pizza ovens, grills, etc.
? Clean kitchen and work area.
? May schedule and/or train kitchen helpers.
? Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food- handling practices.

REQUIREMENTS
? 12+ months of cooking experience required, or equivalent education.
? Completion of secondary school.
? Physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy items and standing for long periods of time.
? Good communication and teamwork skills.
? Foodsafe certificate is an asset.

WORKING CONDITIONS
? Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

POSITION TYPE
? Permanent, Full-Time, 40 hours/week.
? Wage – $20.00 - $24.00 per hour, to be negotiated.
