Beeryani Indian Bistro & Bar Ltd. is looking for experienced Cooks to join our team in Vancouver. We are seeking individuals who can prepare delicious meals in a fast-paced kitchen and ensure quality and consistency in every dish.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook full meals and individual dishes
Follow dietary requirements or allergy instructions when preparing food
Inspect kitchen areas and maintain cleanliness and hygiene
Train kitchen staff in food preparation and safe handling procedures
Supervise and assist kitchen helpers
Maintain inventory and order ingredients and kitchen supplies
Keep records of food and supplies used
Ensure kitchen equipment and work areas are cleaned and maintained
Requirements
Language: English
Education: High school diploma (Secondary school certificate)
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role
Cuisine Specialties: West Indian
Skills and Qualities
Strong attention to detail
Able to work under pressure in a busy kitchen
Good team supervision and communication skills
Reliable and organized
