Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Cook to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and food safety. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently under pressure, and a commitment to delivering excellent food and service.

Duties
Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes according to established recipes and standards
Prepare food for customers with allergies or dietary restrictions, ensuring proper food handling procedures
Assist with menu preparation and ensure food meets quality and presentation standards
Prepare ingredients, including washing, cutting, and portioning food items
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations at all times
Monitor food inventory levels and assist with stock rotation and storage
Maintain records of food quantities, usage, and waste as required
Assist in preparing food for special orders or events when needed
Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to efficient kitchen operations

Skills
Experience in food preparation and cooking in a commercial kitchen
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and consistency in food preparation
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
Team-oriented with effective communication skills

Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cook or in a similar role
Food Handler Certification (required or willingness to obtain)
Ability to work full-time with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques
