Wage: $21 per hour
Job Duties
• Cook meals and individual dishes
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
• Determine appropriate portion sizes and assist in estimating food requirements and costs
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed
• Maintain inventory and records of food and supplies
• Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety standards.
• Assist in planning menus and ensuring consistency in food quality
• Supervise and assist kitchen helpers in food preparation and basic cooking tasks
• Maintain a clean kitchen and work area at all times
• Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with restaurant standards and recipes
Qualifications
• Language of Work: English
• Education: Completion of secondary (high) school education
• Cuisine specialties: Xi’an-style cuisine experience preferred
• Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of relevant work experience as a cook is required
