Job duties:-
• Check and maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and service areas
• Teach staff proper food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe handling practices
• Cook full meals or specific dishes as required
• Adapt and prepare meals to meet customers’ dietary restrictions or allergies
• Purchase necessary ingredients, supplies, and kitchen equipment
• Design menus and forecast the ingredients needed
• Decide appropriate portion sizes and calculate food costs
• Ensure the kitchen and workspaces are kept clean and sanitary
• Keep track of inventory, supplies, and equipment records
