The Plate in Nanaimo, BC is looking for a skilled and experienced Full-time, Permanent Cook.
Conditions:
• Position : Cook (Full time, Permanent position)
• Working hours : 30 ~ 40 hours per week
• Wage : $30.00 ~ $37.00 per hour (wage to be determined depend on experience and skills)
• Vacation : 10 days paid holidays per year or 4 gross salary
• Position Available : 2
Requirements :
• Education : completion of secondary school
• Experience : 2 years of cook experience
• Language : English

Job Duties :
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
Plan menus, determine size of food portions
Estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies

Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
Clean kitchen and work areas
Manage kitchen operation
