Position: Cook (Edmonton)
Total Vacancies: 2
Terms of employment: Permanent & Full time Position
Location: 11044 82 Ave, Edmonton AB, T6G 0T2
Start date: ASAP
Wage: $17.50 to $18.00 hourly per hour for 30-40 hours a week
Job duties:
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Clean kitchen and work areas, including food handling areas.
- Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes and customer requests.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Check received products and place purchase orders or requisitions when needed.
- Estimate food consumption, supplies, and requirements.
- Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
- Train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling.
Work conditions and physical capabilities:
Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, and standing for extended periods.
