Cook Job

Duties and Responsibilities:
*Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
*Inspect kitchen and food service areas
*Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
*Order supplies and equipment
*Supervise kitchen staff and helpers as required
*Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
*Clean kitchen and work areas
*Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed at all times

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: Minimum 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a cook or in a commercial food preparation role

Language: English

Workplace type: On site

Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week

Wage: $20.00 to $20.45 per hour (to be negotiated)
