Wage: $32.00 to $36.00 / hour (wage determined based on experience and qualifications; higher wage levels apply for candidates with more extensive experience)

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time 30 to 44 hours / week
Start date: As soon as possible
Benefit: 4 percent of total wages for vacation pay

Job requirements
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years

Job Duties
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies
• Oversee kitchen staff and daily kitchen operations
• Instruct staff on food preparation and proper handling techniques
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas
