Job Type: Full time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, hygiene, and compliance with safety and food handling standards.
Inspect kitchen and food service areas regularly to maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations.
Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, equipment, and kitchen expenditures.
Clean and sanitize kitchen and work areas, including equipment and utensils, following proper procedures.
Cooking Cantonese cuisine experience is preferred.

Skills & Qualification:
Completion of secondary school is required.
1 years’ experience in cooking is required.
Experience in cooking Cantonese cuisine is preferred.
Ability to follow recipes and restaurant menu standards.
Understanding of portion control and food presentation standards.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Team player who works under pressure and a fast-paced environment.
Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.

Compensation:
The wage for this position is $17.00 -$19.00 per hour
Working hours: Tuesday-Sunday, 35-40 hours/week
Two weeks of vacation yearly or 4% of annual remuneration
