Converting Supervisor Job

Responsibilities:

Safety Management:
Execute safety briefs to crews on designated shifts at various intervals.
Monitor the workplace safety environment, identifying and addressing any unsafe conditions.
Ensure compliance with company safety policies, safe work practices, and plant policies.
Production Oversight:
Monitor and track daily production goals for Converting machines using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and report results on the plant scorecard.
Manage workforce planning, including fulfilling work schedules and adhering to attendance policies.
Communicate effectively with all functional areas of the plant to meet production needs.
Personnel Management:
Supervise daily production activities, providing oversight to team members.
Monitor the performance levels of each team member.
Implement Daily Management Systems (DMS) to track progress against production goals and enable performance excellence.
Communication and Collaboration:
Promote positive employee relations and foster interdepartmental communication and collaboration.
Effectively communicate performance expectations to shift workers.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or G.E.D. - Required
3+ years of supervisory or 5 years of team lead experience in a packaging operations facility – Required
Converting Equipment Experience – Labelers, Rotary Die Cutter, Flatbed Die Cutter, Flexo Folder Gluer, Folder Gluer
