Responsibilities:
Tasks:
Design, develop, and support electrical power, control, and automation equipment and systems used in industrial and robotic applications.
Assist in the design, assembly, wiring, testing, and commissioning of automation panels, robotic systems, and control equipment in accordance with engineering specifications and safety standards.
Install, configure, commission, and service electrical, electronic, and automation equipment including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, sensors, actuators, VFDs, and robotic components.
Interpret and apply electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, PLC logic, and technical documentation to plan installation methods and operational sequences.
Set up, operate, and maintain specialized diagnostic and test equipment to test, analyze, and verify the performance of electrical, electronic, and automation systems.
Inspect, test, calibrate, and adjust electronic instruments, sensors, and control components to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with technical specifications.
Assist in building, testing, and validating prototypes and automation systems, collecting operational and experimental data for analysis and reporting.
Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on robotic, control, welding, and material-handling equipment to minimize downtime and improve system performance.
Conduct or support the installation, startup, shutdown, adjustment, and monitoring of automated production lines, including robotic welding and material-handling systems.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and communication issues within PLC, HMI, robotic, and control systems.
Assist in preparing technical documentation such as specifications, estimates, schedules, wiring diagrams, test results, maintenance logs, and work orders.
Ensure all installations, testing, and modifications comply with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards.
Conduct or assist with safety training and provide technical support to production and maintenance personnel for safe and efficient operation of automated systems.
Maintain accurate records of testing, commissioning, production activities, inspections, and equipment maintenance.
