Simply put, they are the best quality fiberglass entry doors in the world. We are now in search of a visionary and collaborative Contract Management Officer to join our dynamic team.

About the Role – Job Description

Mennie Canada is looking for a permanent full-time Contract Management Officer to oversee and coordinate the procurement activities.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Purchase materials and specialized equipment for fiberglass door assembly and installations
• Set the direction of the business requirements, sourcing management, contract management and compliance, vendor management, and procurement methods for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased
• Provide procurement-related decisions with immediate impacts on the structure of negotiated contracts, long-term planning, and sourcing strategies
• Develop specialized procurement strategies, draft tender and contract documents for procurements and review quotations.
• Develop, coordinate, and manage complex addenda to tenders, presentations, supplier meetings and final contract document articles of agreement and contract amendments
• Negotiate source contracts and develop unique pricing strategies and contract terms and conditions
• Guide others in the performance of their day-to-day activities without direct supervisory responsibility
• Establish logistics of delivery schedules, monitor progress and contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems

Qualifications
• Secondary school is required
• Must have at least 2 years of related experience
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to lead and conduct contract negotiation in support of diversified, complex, and potentially long-term agreements to the mutual satisfaction of all parties
• Excellent supplier management skills including the ability to build, develop and retain networks
• Must be able to work independently as well as within the cross-function environment to provide guidance to less experienced co-workers

$36.06 per hour for 35 hours per week
