Construction Worker Job

TKL Precast Group Inc. o/a TKL Group Inc. is looking for full time Construction Worker at 8620 Oakwood Drive, Niagara Falls ON L2G 0J2 Canada. There are 5 positions available.•

Main duties and responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:

• Load and unload construction and formwork materials, tools and equipment, and move materials to work areas
• Assist in setting out, assembling, installing, and dismantling timber, plywood, and metal formwork for concrete structures.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms
• Assist with concrete pouring activities by monitoring formwork stability and performing minor adjustments as directed.
• Assist tradespersons such as carpenters in construction activities
• Assist in measuring, cutting, and preparing formwork materials according to drawings, specifications, and supervisor instructions.
• Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment, signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance in other activities
• Level earth to fine grade specifications using rake and shovel
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment
• Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers as directed
• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction such as mixers, compressors and pumps
• Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and remove hazardous materials
• Direct traffic at or near construction sites
• Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.

Hours of work are 40 hours/weeks (overtime paid after 44 hours). Pay is $27/hour. Successful candidates must speak English. No education or experience is required; will train the right candidate.
