Construction trades helper Job

* Load, unload and transport construction materials, tools and equipment to and from work areas.
* Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, barricades and other temporary structures as required at construction sites.
* Assist with framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs.
* Mix, pour and spread construction materials as required for construction and home-improvement work.
* Assist tradespersons with the installation, assembly and repair of HVAC and other construction-related equipment.
* Move, organize and stage materials, tools and equipment to support tradespersons and installation crews.
* Tend or feed machines and equipment used in construction and assist equipment operators with attachments and materials.
* Assist with general site preparation and other construction support activities.
* Clean and pile salvaged materials and remove rubble, packaging and other construction debris from work sites.
* Perform general construction labouring duties as directed by tradespersons and site supervisors.
* Clean and maintain work areas, tools and equipment.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow established workplace health and safety procedures.

Education:Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Language:English

Transportation:Own transportation; willing to travel; valid driver’s licence

Personal suitability:Reliability; team player

Specialization:Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system
