Skills Requirements:
• Education: Completion of Secondary/High School Graduation Certificate
• Work experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience as a telecommunications line and cable installer/repairer and atleast 2 years of experience as a splicer is required.

Job Duties:
• Setting up, removing, and fixing internet lines both above and below the ground, along with their associated equipment.
• Connecting and repairing various types and sizes of communication cables, like single-line and high-speed fiber optic cables.
• Fixing or swapping out broken cables, power sources, signal boosters, and other equipment related to communication.
• Restoring worksites after completion of Dig and Repairs jobs on underground and aerial telecommunication lines. Installing FSC (FiberOptic Splice Box).
• Providing exceptional customer experience to our clients. Collaborating with management and colleagues to plan and complete assignments.
• Inspecting and testing telecommunications transmission lines andcables to locate faults.
• Diagnosing and solving all technical problems related to cable service, high-speed internet in accordance with the company's specifications and standards.
• Jetting Optical Fibre in the telecommunications ducts.
• Completing breakout connections on telecommunication lines.
• Working in small, enclosed spaces like trenches, tunnels, and tight crawl spaces.
• Driving company vehicle as per the company's instructions and guidelines.
• Executing any other related duties assigned to general labourers, as required.
• May perform other duties as required by the business.
