Job Description:
Shan Construction Services Ltd is looking for two (2) Construction Site Supervisor (s) who can start immediately. Applicants must be willing to work in various locations in Edmonton and surrounding areas.
Wages:
$37.00 per hour for 30 - 44 hours per week
Terms of Employment:
Permanent; Full-Time
Applicants with part-time availability are encouraged to apply

Education:
Secondary school graduation certificate
Experience:
Minimum of two years in related field.

Job Duties:
• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on-site to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
• Prepare and maintain progress reports, site logs, and production updates for management review.
• Plan, schedule, and assign work to tradespersons, labourers, and subcontractors.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to guide site operations and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Estimate labour, material, and equipment requirements and monitor usage to control costs.
• Requisition and manage materials, tools, and equipment to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
• Ensure full compliance with occupational health and safety standards and enforce site safety protocols.
• Inspect work in progress and completed tasks to ensure quality control and adherence to building codes.
• Train workers or arrange for training to improve skills, safety awareness, and productivity.
• Recommend hiring, promotion, or disciplinary actions based on worker performance.
• Set up and oversee the use of construction equipment and ensure proper maintenance and operation.
• Resolve work-related issues and provide technical guidance and direction to team members.
Supervision: Staff in various areas of responsibility
